Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Automation Sales Consultant to provide standard and custom automated solutions to researchers across a wide range of applications. This remote role covers the Upper Midwest and reports to the Automation Regional Manager.

In this role you will develop and implement a detailed sales plan, conduct customer site visits and product demonstrations, coordinate distributor training, and manage the sales funnel in SFDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2+ years in life sciences sales or technical/capital equipment sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven sales tactics.
• Motivated, successful track record in life science/government/academic sales.

Responsibilities

• Annually submit and implement a detailed sales plan with objectives and opportunities.
• Engage in customer site visits, demonstrations, seminars, and distributor training.
• Maintain monthly forecast and funnel details in the CRM.
• Manage mail lists and report competitive activity in the territory.
• Travel up to 50% within the territory and maintain a valid driver’s license.
