Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher company, seeks an Automation Sales Consultant to deliver automated solutions for life sciences customers. The role is fully remote, covering the Upper Midwest (IN, WI, MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS) with up to 50% travel to customer sites.

You will develop a detailed annual sales plan, participate in sales activities, submit forecasts in SFDC, build and maintain a customer mail list, and report competitive activity to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field; 2+ years in Life Sciences or Government/Academic sales or technical sales
• Strong communication and presentation skills; tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing) preferred
• Experience with distribution channels and CRM (SFDC) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Annually submit and implement a detailed sales plan identifying objectives, opportunities, major customers, and regional shows to attend
• Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, calls, trade shows, product demos, and channel management; coordinate distributor training
• Submit monthly forecast and maintain funnel details
• Maintain customer mail list for the territory
• Collect and report competitive activity within the territory on SFDC CRM
