Job summary
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Automation Sales Consultant for a remote role covering the Upper Midwest. You will collaborate with the Field Application Specialist and Field Project Manager to deliver standard and custom automated solutions for researchers in life sciences.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in Life Sciences sales, strong communication, and CRM/SFDC proficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2+ years’ experience in Life Sciences or Technical/Capital equipment sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proven sales technique.
- Motivated, results-driven with track record in Life Science or Government/Academic sales.
- Experience with distribution channels is a plus.
- Proficient with PC, email and MS Office; CRM/SFDC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Annually submit and implement a detailed sales plan identifying objectives, opportunities and regional shows.
- Engage in customer site visits, virtual demos, trade shows, and channel management.
- Submit monthly forecast and maintain accurate funnel details in CRM.
- Maintain customer mail lists in assigned territory and coordinate distributor training.
- Collect competitive intelligence and report activity in CRM/SFDC.
