Job summary

Everpure is hiring a Software Quality Engineer for the Hyperscale Line of Business in Santa Clara, CA. You will design and implement automated tests to ensure high-quality software across large-scale storage environments, working across kernel and OS layers and collaborating with engineering, QE, and support teams.

You will bring 5+ years of software testing experience, strong automation skills (Python/Go/Java/Kotlin), and the ability to diagnose complex storage issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software system testing.
• Strong emphasis on end-to-end automation and product validation.
• Hands-on automation using Python, Go, Java, Kotlin.
• Familiar with SSD/NVMe storage devices and related I/O paths.
• Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests across the product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain automated test sets and strategies.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to define requirements and tests.
• Work with Support to reproduce and diagnose customer issues.
• Identify defects and drive root cause analysis and fixes.
• Document gaps and contribute to closing defects from customers.
• Primarily operate in Santa Clara, CA office as part of an in-office team.
