Everpure, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Quality Systems Engineer for FlashBlade and FlashArray to ensure releases of the highest quality. You will plan, test, and qualify shipping releases for storage products and collaborate with support and escalation teams.

The role requires deep storage domain expertise, strong Python test automation, and hands-on lab experience with interoperability across Linux/Windows/VMware environments, plus a passion for root-cause analysis and building automation.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 10+ years of software system testing experience.
• Deep knowledge of the storage stack — high availability, caching, flash, RAID, dedup/compression, filesystems, block storage, I/O paths, latency/throughput trade-offs, consistency, and replication.
• Proficiency with storage protocols (Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI, NVMe, SCSI, NFS, SMB) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack) across Linux/Windows/VMware.
• Hands-on interoperability testing, firmware updates, backward compatibility, and upgrade paths in hardware labs or data centers with storage arrays.
• Strong Python test automation, IO tools (vdbench, Orion, IOmeter) and database tech (Oracle/SQL), with QA best practices and root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring releases of the highest quality
• Plan, test and qualify shipping releases
• Work with Support and Escalation teams to reproduce and root cause customer issues; identify defects
• Triage and debug automated test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack; perform ad-hoc, automated and manual testing
• Design and build tools and automation to simplify testing and integration workflows; identify test gaps and perform root cause analysis; close loop with release engineering.
