Job summary

Everpure, based in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Software Quality Engineer focused on automation to join our hyperscale line of business. You will design and implement automated tests and build scalable test strategies to ensure high-quality software across complex storage systems.

You will collaborate across kernel and OS layers, diagnose issues, and partner with development, QE, product management, and support teams to close gaps in test coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software system testing or equivalent.
• Proficient in System level testing with emphasis on end‑to‑end automation and validation.
• Hands-on experience in automation using Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of quality engineering to identify test coverage gaps and defects.
• Ability to establish system stability, resiliency, and liveliness testing at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests throughout product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain automated test sets and strategies for multiple products.
• Collaborate with peers to identify requirements and develop testing suites.
• Work with Support and Escalation teams to reproduce and diagnose customer issues.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects found during automated testing.
• Identify test gaps, perform root cause analysis, and address customer-found defects.
• Work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies.
