Job summary

Everpure is seeking a senior software system tester to ensure the highest quality releases for a data platform-focused product portfolio. You will design, implement and maintain automated tests, and collaborate with storage and cloud engineers to validate complex hardware/software stacks.

With over 10 years in software testing, you will apply Python automation, IO tools, and virtualization knowledge to deliver robust validation.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 10+ years of software system testing experience.
• Deep knowledge of storage stack, high availability, caching, flash, RAID, dedup/compression, filesystems, block storage, I/O paths.
• Experience with multiple OS (Linux/Windows/VMware) and storage protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe, SCSI, NFS, SMB).
• Hands-on interoperability testing, firmware updates, and upgrade paths in hardware labs or data centers.
• Strong Python test automation skills, IO tools (vdbench, Orion, IOmeter) and SQL/Oracle knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure releases of the highest quality.
• Plan, test and qualify shipping releases.
• Collaborate with Support and Escalation to reproduce and root-cause issues.
• Identify defects during testing and perform root-cause analysis.
• Design and build tools to simplify testing and integration workflows.
