Job summary

Advantage Technical in Westminster, MD seeks a hands-on Sr Automation Engineer to lead manufacturing automation initiatives. You will drive robotics, PLC programming, and process improvements to convert manual workflows into efficient automated systems.

You will manage a team of process engineers and technicians, oversee projects from concept to implementation, collaborate with production and quality teams, and ensure documentation and training are in place.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Eng required.
• 8+ years of experience in Industrial Automation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing automation, process engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive operations efficiency by converting manual processes to automated solutions.
• Implement advanced robotics, PLCs, and automated equipment to optimize workflows.
• Lead and develop a team of Process Engineers and Setup Technicians.

• Oversee project management including schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams on new product introductions.
