Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability in our fulfillment centers. You will lead troubleshooting, mentor engineers, and guide cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems with state-of-the-art conveyors and SCADA devices.

You will ensure throughput and speed while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will design and implement controls improvements, analyze performance data, and support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis experience.
• Bachelors degree in CS/EE/automation or equivalent.
• Experience with robotics work cells and control systems.
• Knowledge of Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize MHE control systems and PLC networks.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement automation projects.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvements.
• Provide escalation support during and after hours.
