Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers. You will mentor engineers, lead cross-functional teams, and drive improvements for conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, automation or equivalent, or 4+ years PLC/automation experience.
4+ years PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in process/production environments.
4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
4+ years Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Codesys ladder logic experience.
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

Apply SME to troubleshoot and dive deep for engineering issues, reducing downtime of critical assets.
Collaborate with Operations and FC teams to optimize MHE systems and implement projects.
Maintain and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, DeviceNet).
Monitor MHE metrics and analyze system performance across operations.
Provide escalation support during/after hours to repair hardware or control software.
Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.
