Job summary
Sargent & Lundy is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineering professional to join a multi-discipline project team in the United States. The role includes PLC/SIS design, P&IDs, and control system documentation, with a hybrid work arrangement combining home and office time.
Candidates must have ABET-accredited engineering degree, 7+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain US government security clearance.
Qualifications
- Must have BS in engineering from ABET-accredited program; MS preferred.
- 7+ years of instrumentation/controls or automation experience.
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance.
- Experience with designing, programming, documenting, and testing automated machinery or processes.
Responsibilities
- Work on PLC-based control systems and SIS for industrial facilities.
- Prepare specifications and design media for software, instrumentation, and control system platforms.
- Advance knowledge in Automation/Control Systems Engineering through mentoring and training.
- Participate in Communities of Practice to share knowledge.
- Travel to client offices and project sites as required.
