Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to contribute to PLC-based control systems, SIS development, and industrial automation projects. The role involves design, specification, and documentation across multiple projects, with opportunities for mentorship in our Automation Lab and active participation in Communities of Practice.

The position supports a hybrid work arrangement and may require travel to client sites, with a strong emphasis on security

Responsibilities

• Work on PLC-based control systems and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and other industrial control platforms
• Prepare specifications and design media for software, instrumentation, and control system procurement and implementation
• Mentoring and training in Automation Lab to grow knowledge in Automation/Control Systems Engineering
• Participate in peer learning via S&L's Communities of Practice
• Travel to client offices and project sites as required
