Job summary

Chubb is recruiting a Total Loss Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and resolve automobile total loss claims for personal and commercial lines. You will manage salvage decisions, storage and rental costs, and coordinate with vendors to ensure compliant, timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of insurance claims experience.
• Active licensure in applicable state.
• Knowledge of auto total loss handling and salvage/compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely delivery of customer service through daily total loss claims handling.
• Adherence to salvage requirements per state guidelines & negotiate upfront storage fees and rental expenses.
• Investigating claims, reserving evaluation and resolution.
• Control the use, work product and expenses of outside vendors.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers.
• Actively participate in committees and task force projects.
