Job summary

Chubb is a world leader in insurance. We seek a dedicated Claims Adjuster to analyze, investigate, and resolve insured claims promptly and accurately. You will establish reserves, determine coverage, and coordinate with vendors to move files toward resolution.

Utilize knowledge of contracts, investigation techniques, and regulatory requirements to negotiate settlements and maintain strong client relationships, while supporting CAT operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Full knowledge of insurance contracts, investigation techniques, legal requirements and insurance regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and with a wide variety of people.
• Aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting information.
• Excellent skills in organization, time management, multitasking, and communication.
• Experience with negotiating and reserving claims.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and analyze/ Investigate first reports and promptly contact insured/claimants.
• Evaluate contract language and identify coverage issues.
• Develop the file to provide accurate loss investigation and analysis.
• Maintain an active file diary to move file toward resolution.
• Establish accurate and timely reserves and recognize potential fraudulent claims.
