Job summary

Cox Automotive – USA is seeking a Sr Auto Maintenance Technician to perform high-skill fleet maintenance and repairs across a range of diesel and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, complex repairs, and keeping meticulous vehicle records.

New hires may receive a $3000 signing bonus. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with compensation as an hourly base rate plus potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record required.
• 5+ years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• ASE Certification: A1-8, (L1 in emission states)
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Must have diesel and transmission experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance: oil changes, filter changes, transmission flush, and inspection.
• Work on medium/high truck systems: hydraulics, electrical, repairs, fabrication as certified.
• Repair diesel engines and transmissions.
• Perform repairs per OEM specs and safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle history and maintenance records.
• Ensure shop area is clean and safe; assist with parts coordination.
