Job summary

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diesel and transmission work, complex repairs, and maintaining vehicle history. The role requires ASE certification, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work shifts. The position offers hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
• 5+ years of vehicle service and repair experience; 1 year of customer service preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Must continue training to maintain current ASE status and adapt to fleet changes.
• Must have diesel and transmission experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance: oil changes, filter changes, transmission flush, and vehicle inspections for mechanical issues.
• Handle medium/heavy truck tasks including booms/hydraulics, electrical work, and complex repairs.
• Repair diesel systems and transmissions; work with OBD II, brakes, tires, suspensions, and electrical components as needed.
• Uphold safety standards; maintain cleanliness and disposal of fluids per regulations.
• Maintain vehicle history and maintenance records; may upfit vehicles with equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs; may provide roadside assistance when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
