Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on light to heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years' experience in mechanical maintenance, a high school diploma, and a strong set of diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a related field or combination of degree/certification and experience.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• Valid driver’s license required and must obtain DOT certifications within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT Inspections on vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair various truck equipment, including engines and braking systems.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure vehicle safety checks.
