• Investigates and adjusts claims, directing independent adjusters and vendors.
• Interacts with field management, legal counsel, safety managers, customers, insurers, and third party claimants.
• Manages litigation to ensure claims are handled appropriately within jurisdiction.
• Identifies exposures and recommends solutions.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable payout based on file developments.
• Alerts on changes in laws that could impact Ryder's liability program.
