Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Claims Senior Auto Adjuster to support the Auto Claims Operation by handling claims of material damage, property damage, and liability lines of insurance, under limited supervision and within defined procedures. You will evaluate coverage, investigate liability, and negotiate settlements with insureds and claimants in accordance with company practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years claims handling experience required.
• Knowledge of claims administration best practices.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes.
• Knowledge of fault assessment, negligence and subrogation principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and claims software.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Property & Casualty license preferred.
• May require Adjuster license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants to verify benefits and explain claims process.
• Obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses; conduct investigations.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims; use claims tools and methods.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments as required.
• Respond to customer needs and inquiries.
• Overtime and holiday hours may be required.
