AAA is seeking an entry-level Claims Auto Adjuster to support the Auto Claims Operation by handling material damage, property damage and liability claims. You will work under moderate supervision to resolve claims using well-defined procedures and company best practices.

The role emphasizes liability investigation, coverage evaluation, and timely claims resolution with opportunity for an incentive program based on team and individual performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• No prior claims experience required is optional.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and general computer software.
• Organization and planning recognition skills required.
• Oral and written communication skills required.
• Interpersonal skills required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License, valid in selling state; may be required to obtain Adjuster license within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with insureds and claimants to explain benefits, coverages, fault, and process.
• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages; differentiate allegations from facts.
• Obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first- and third-party claims.
• Use claims technology and tools for review of estimates and analysis.
