Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Temple, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and speed. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars using industry-standard methods, ensuring quality workmanship while meeting KPIs and delivering a stellar customer experience.

High school diploma and 4–5 years of collision repair experience are required; technical training or apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• 4-5 years minimum collision auto body repair experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan and ensure consistent quality.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates with tools like cutters and hammers.
• Hammer dents, apply filler, realign chassis, replace parts and repaint as needed.
• Inspect repairs to ensure correct execution and timeliness.
• Weld and fit parts, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and coordinate with team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
