Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Killeen, TX is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with speed and quality. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining the company's standards and KPIs as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Minimum 4-5 years of collision auto body repair experience is required, with ability to read orders and work with others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in a shop.
• Proficient with tools used to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Repair dents using fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix damage.
• Replace damaged parts and glass as required.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint per specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
