Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, realign chassis, replace components, and paint to factory standards.

The role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence within a team-driven environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using appropriate tools.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis, replace parts, weld and repaint as needed to factory standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and follow safety rules.
