Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace or repair parts and glass, weld and repaint, and work with teammates to meet KPIs while representing The Boyd Group as a Brand Ambassador.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while repairing dents and body damage where possible.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace parts and glass; weld and repaint as needed.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
