Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an experienced auto body technician to plan repairs, estimate costs, and execute bodywork with precision. You will use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hammers, and pliers to restore vehicles and ensure top quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, apply filler resins, and realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld and reassemble parts, and repaint vehicles to factory-specified standards.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
