Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and reassembly. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador of The Boyd Group.

The role requires applying advanced repair techniques, including dent removal, chassis alignment, part replacement, and painting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammers out dents and minor body damage; applies filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts; welds and preps/paints vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
