Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. The role emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of The Boyd Group family.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship, with strong skills in reading job orders, body repairs, and safe tool use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and structures to repair damage.
• Replace parts, glass, and interior components as needed.
• Weld and attach parts, repaint to factory specs.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
