Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Abilene, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and inspect cars, ensuring speed, quality and customer excellence.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and/or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship. Experience with metalwork, welding, and paint is preferred, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts and work with glass as needed.
• Weld, paint and finalize vehicle restoration to pre-accident condition.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to KPI targets.
