Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition and deliver a superior customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles while supporting KPI goals and brand standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
• Ensure work is accurate and aligns with KPIs; be a Brand Ambassador.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
