Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to accurately assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, align frames, replace components, and perform painting to factory standards with attention to quality and speed.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. Physical stamina and the ability to work safely in a busy shop are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and perform repairs with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged parts and glass.
• Weld, fit, and repaint as required to factory specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
