Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing firm and manage tax, audit and other assignments with limited supervision. The role emphasizes supervising Staff Accountants, problem solving, and strengthening client relationships while increasing profitability.

We offer remote or hybrid options depending on business needs, discuss with your recruiter. Compensation ranges from $79,000 to $96,000 with potential bonus opportunities and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA prep or licensed CPA strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years in public accounting with a mix of tax and audit experience.
• Ability to work with CPA licensing targets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax and/or audit projects with minimal oversight.
• Supervise Staff Accountants and mentor junior team members.
• Develop client relationships and improve team profitability.
• Conduct engagement reviews and identify risk areas.
• Perform data gathering, analysis and reporting for engagements.
• Meet internal deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Work toward CPA licensure if not yet obtained.
