Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Manager to lead tax, audit and other engagements while mentoring Staff and Senior Accountants. The role emphasizes client relationships, independent problem solving, and profitability growth for the firm.

The Manager will oversee engagement quality, guide teams, and contribute to business development. Some positions may offer remote or hybrid arrangements based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus) and 5-8 years of experience in public accounting; CPA license required.
• Exhibit expert understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize a fast-paced and varied workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements from planning through staffing and timing with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations and develop team members.
• Assist Principals/Partners with pursuing new clients and business opportunities.
• Support firm profitability by efficient time management and client service excellence.
