Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing firm. The Senior Accountant will manage tax and other assignments with minimal supervision, while supervising Staff, strengthening client relationships and increasing team profitability.

Some positions may be open to remote or hybrid work depending on business needs. You will contribute to engagement reviews, tax projects, and research, with CPA licensure as a target.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA eligibility or license is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and assist in engagement management.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants; contribute to profitability.
• Perform data gathering, analysis, and reporting; discuss findings and recommendations.
