Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-growing firm. You will manage tax, audit and other assignments, supervise Staff Accountants, and work toward CPA licensure where applicable. Some roles may offer remote or hybrid arrangements depending on business needs.

The Senior Accountant will operate with minimal supervision, focusing on problem solving, client relationships, and profitability. A CPA path and strong accounting knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 3–5 years in public accounting.
• Ability to sit for CPA exam or has CPA license; CPA license a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage engagements.
• Supervise and mentor Staff Accountants; improve client relationships.
