Job summary

Insite US is seeking a Senior Audit Manager to lead engagements for construction and commercial clients from Baltimore County, MD. The role emphasizes ownership of client relationships, engagement delivery, and team development within a growing assurance practice.

Responsibilities include directing audits from planning to delivery, collaborating with Partners on technical matters, and ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in public accounting.
• CPA licence required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience planning and supervising audits and large review engagements.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex audit and review engagements.
• Oversee engagement planning, staffing, scheduling, and budgets.
• Work closely with Partners on client engagements and technical matters.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify audit risks.
• Review audit programs, workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures and management letters.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Ensure engagements comply with relevant professional standards.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
• Monitor engagement profitability and manage client expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with business owners and senior financial stakeholders.
