Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our San Diego office, supporting our Construction practice. You will act as in‑charge on audits, with ownership of engagement execution, and build relationships across construction clients.

The role offers hands‑on client exposure, opportunity to grow expertise, and collaboration with a diverse team in a hybrid environment. Local candidates eligible for US work authorization preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services.
• Knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsabilités

• Act as the in‑charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion.
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Build technical and analytical competence by staying up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities.
• Manage work plan schedules and help anticipate client needs.
• Oversee and mentor associates assigned to various engagements.
• Collaborate effectively with both in‑person and remote team members.
• Support engagement budgets, scheduling, and fee analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and team efficiency.
