Aldrich CPAs and Advisors LLP in Carlsbad is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to support our Construction practice. You’ll lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion, working closely with clients and team members to deliver quality assurance services.

We value hands-on client exposure, ownership of engagement execution, and the opportunity to build relationships across construction businesses. Local candidates authorized to work in the U.S. preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services.
• Knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion.
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Build technical and analytical competence by staying up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities.
• Manage work plan schedules and help anticipate client needs.
• Oversee and mentor associates assigned to various engagements.
• Collaborate effectively with both in-person and remote team members.
