Job summary

Aldrich CPAs & Advisors LLP in San Diego is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join our Construction practice. You will act as the in-charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion, and you will interact with clients and team members to execute engagements.

The role offers hands-on client exposure, ownership of engagement execution, and opportunities to build relationships across the construction industry with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance or relevant industry experience
• Solid understanding of audit and attest services
• Knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with clients and team members

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-charge on audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable conditions letters with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Build technical and analytical competence by staying up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities
• Manage work plan schedules and help anticipate client needs
• Oversee and mentor associates assigned to various engagements
• Collaborate effectively with both in-person and remote team members
• Support engagement budgets, scheduling, and fee analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and team efficiency
