Job summary

Jobot’s client, a well-established CPA firm in the Baltimore/Towson area, seeks a Senior Audit Manager to lead and perform review engagements. You will work directly with clients, stay hands-on with technical accounting work, and oversee staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role blends leadership with detailed engagement execution and client service. Ideal candidates have a CPA certification and a strong public accounting background, with experience in construction-industry clients

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Strong public accounting background with significant review experience.
• Hands-on leader who manages engagements and performs technical work.
• Clear understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• Construction-industry experience is a plus.
• Compilation and tax experience is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with growth potential into senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform review engagements from planning through completion.
• Work directly with clients to build long-term relationships.
• Remain hands-on with engagement execution and accounting work.
• Coordinate and oversee staff while maintaining direct involvement.
• Apply professional judgment to accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Help build and expand the firm’s growing review practice.
• Serve closely held businesses, including construction clients.
• Collaborate with partners on accounting, tax, and advisory needs.
