Job summary

Encore Global in New York is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead the technical setup and operation of mid-level production events in a hospitality environment. You will collaborate with the project management team to ensure flawless event execution and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in event technology (audio, lighting, projection, or video) and 3-4 years in customer service or hospitality. Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of event technology experience with specialty in Audio, Lighting, Projection, or Video.
• 3-4 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; external/internal training requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots advanced AV equipment; ensures secure, timely setup and breakdown.
• Delivers excellent customer service and maintains client relationships during events.
• Mentors and coaches team members; stays current with technology and industry trends.
• Supervises technicians during events and communicates effectively with hotel/client teams.
• Maintains equipment inventory, storage, and security.
