Datavant seeks an Atlassian Platform Architect to own the technical direction of Jira, JSM, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem. You will define target architecture, governance, and data standards, and personally design complex automations, integrations, and service-management solutions.

This senior role partners with IT, Security, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure platform solutions. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on delivery, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of Jira and Atlassian ecosystem leadership.
• Hands-on Jira Cloud, JSM, workflows, permissions, automation.
• Experience with Forge, REST APIs, webhooks, enterprise integrations.
• Ability to define enterprise architecture, governance and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned ITSM and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target architecture and roadmap for Jira, JSM, Confluence.
• Set data models, workflows, permissions, automation and reporting standards.
• Lead platform remediation and reduce technical debt.
• Design complex solutions using Jira Automation, REST APIs, and webhooks.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Eng to translate requirements.
• Mentor Jira admins and review high-risk changes.
• Lead platform migrations and integration initiatives.
