Job summary

DRW is seeking a Senior Atlassian Engineer to own and modernize our Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platform. You will lead enterprise-scale migrations, build HR and service workflows, and implement AI-native processes to streamline operations across DRW's global teams.

The role emphasizes governance, security, and collaboration with IT leadership, drivers for scalable platform health, and robust integration with Slack, SharePoint, and other enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, Developer, Architect or similar role.
• Deep Jira development expertise, from custom workflows to advanced scripting.
• Experience administering and supporting Confluence, including spaces, permissions, templates, and apps.
• Experience migrating Jira and Confluence from Data Center to Cloud, including planning, data validation, and cutover.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and ITSM best practices.
• Experience building HR and enterprise service workflows in JSM.
• Experience designing and managing Jira Assets (CMDB).
• Experience with third-party integrations (Slack, SharePoint, Exalate) and REST APIs.
• Scripting in Python, Groovy, or JavaScript.
• Comfortable with Git and change management.
• Experience with AI-native tools and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: End-to-end support of Jira and Confluence, governance and configuration standards.
• Cloud Migration: Plan and execute Data Center to Cloud migration with minimal disruption.
• Service Management: Build and optimize JSM service desks and HR workflows.
• System Integrations: Maintain integrations between Atlassian and adjacent systems to ensure data flow.
• Platform Health: Monitor, audit, and maintain data hygiene and compliance.
• Automation & Self-Service: Drive automation to reduce manual work and scale support.
• AI Enablement: Build AI agents and workflows with guardrails.
• Platform Roadmap: Identify improvements and shape the platform trajectory with IT leadership.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Align with DRW teams to deliver secure Atlassian solutions.
• Consultant Management: Coordinate with external Atlassian consultants.
