Job summary

DRW Holdings, LLC, a Chicago-based trading firm, seeks a Senior Atlassian Engineer to own Jira/Confluence platforms and drive AI-native workflows. You will oversee migrations, JSM/Assets workflows, and system integrations while partnering with business units to modernize processes and governance.

The role emphasizes platform ownership, cross-team collaboration, and delivering scalable, secure solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Jira Administrator/Developer/Architect role experience in an enterprise setting.
• Deep Jira development and scripting across Jira, JSM, and Confluence.
• Experience migrating Jira/Confluence Data Center to Cloud with cutover planning.
• Hands-on JSM and ITSM design, HR/workflow automation, and CMDB assets.
• AI-native tools experience and understanding of guardrails, permissions and security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and business teams.
• Atlassian certifications preferred (ACP-120, ACP-620, ACP-420).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration for Jira and Confluence end-to-end with governance.
• Lead Data Center to Cloud migration planning and cutover.
• Build and optimize JSM, Assets, and HR workflows; manage SLAs.
• Design integrations with Slack, HR platforms, and identity providers.
• Ensure platform health, data hygiene, and audit readiness.
• Drive automation and self-service to reduce manual effort.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows and agents with proper guardrails.
• Shape platform roadmap with IT leadership; partner with DRW teams.
• Oversee external Atlassian consultants to meet requirements and deadlines.
