Job summary

Sorren is seeking an experienced assurance leader to manage complex engagements and advise clients on GAAP/GAAS issues. You will guide teams through planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring risk controls and high-quality reporting.

This role requires strong leadership and communication to build trusted advisor relationships with clients. You will oversee budgets, mentor multi-level teams, and drive continuous improvement in auditing practices.

Qualifications

• CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Deep technical expertise in GAAP/GAAS and evolving standards.
• Proven track record leading large-scale assurance engagements from planning through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex assurance engagements across diverse industries.
• Serve as a technical expert in GAAP/GAAS; guide internal teams and clients on complex issues.
• Develop engagement strategies aligned with client objectives and risk considerations.
• Review engagement budgets and ensure targets and high-quality client service.
• Drive improvements in audit methodology and use of technology.
• Supervise and coach managers and associates; foster accountability and excellence.
• Lead performance management, reviews, and development planning.
• Review and approve client deliverables with focus on clarity and compliance.
