Job summary

Sorren is seeking an experienced assurance professional to lead complex audits and related services in a high-performing firm. You will oversee engagements, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to GAAP/GAAS while coordinating with clients to deliver accurate and timely results.

The role requires 5–10 years in assurance, CPA eligibility, and strong leadership and communication skills. A collaborative, client-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple engagements are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA license or eligible required or encouraged.
• 5–10 years of experience in assurance-related work preferred.
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and financial reporting frameworks.
• Ability to manage complex engagements and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of complex assurance projects, including audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures.
• Apply GAAP/GAAS knowledge to evaluate audit risks and guide strategy.
• Plan engagements by budgeting, staffing, and scope, adjusting programs as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members to ensure growth and performance.
• Ensure timely completion and adherence to audit objectives; monitor profitability.
