Sorren is seeking a Senior Assurance professional to lead complex audits and provide strategic guidance in accordance with GAAP/GAAS. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and drive high-quality financial reporting for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• CPA license or eligible.
• 5–10 years of experience in assurance-related work.
• Expertise in audit standards, procedures, and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage complex engagements and align with firm goals.
• Proficient in audit software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of complex assurance projects, including audits and reviews.
• Apply GAAP, GAAS and other reporting frameworks to guide strategy.
• Plan engagements by budgeting, staffing, and scope of work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members for growth.
• Monitor project completion to ensure productivity and profitability.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit programs for accuracy.
• Assess findings and prepare letters for clients.
• Prepare proposals for new assurance work and fee structures.
• Communicate project statuses and issues with clients and team.
• Develop meaningful client relationships and manage expectations.
