Job summary

The position requires 3+ years of audit experience, CPA consideration, and strong communication skills to support the engagement team and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR CPA path, required/preferred Master’s
• Three or more years of audit experience; supervisory experience preferred
• CPA exams started; CPA certification preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and audit tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit in-charge duties and fieldwork.
• Document, validate, and assess internal controls; communicate improvements to client.
• Apply GAAP and prepare financial statements with disclosures.
• Review SEC filings and ensure accuracy; test and document control environment.
• Supervise staff; review workpapers; provide feedback and coaching.
• Assist engagement manager with planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Maintain primary client contact for basic questions and information; support audit committee communications
