Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate the day-to-day audit process, including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, and to prepare financial statements with disclosures in compliance with GAAP. The role involves acting as a primary client contact and may include reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The candidate will supervise staff, ensure adherence to SEC/PCAOB guidelines, and communicate findings to management and the Audit Committee, while applying BDO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required or CPA.
• CPA or active pursuit required; Master’s in Accountancy preferred.
• Three+ years of audit experience or equivalent.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of audits.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP.
• Review client internal controls and convey improvements.
• Communicate with client contact and Audit Committee as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SEC/PCAOB guidelines and firm policies.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers and conclusions.
