Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, execute fieldwork, and wrap-up tasks while applying GAAP and SEC/PCAOB guidelines. You will act as client contact for basic questions and support reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant audit experience, CPA involvement, and strong communication and supervisory skills to lead teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required
• CPA certification in progress or CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit engagement activities including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
• Supervise audit staff, review workpapers and communicate issues to the team
• Apply GAAP, SEC and PCAOB standards to client engagements
• Identify improvements to internal controls and help design test plans
• Prepare and/or review financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP
• Communicate with client contacts and Audit Committee as needed
• Assist in planning internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) engagements
