Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Experienced Senior to lead day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, and to prepare financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP. The role also involves acting as the client contact for basic questions and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of audit experience, strong supervisory skills, CPA status or progress toward CPA, and fluency with SEC/PCAOB rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required.
• Three or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting experience.
• Prior basic supervisory experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of audits.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers and conclusions.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
• Communicate with clients to address questions and provide progress updates.
• Apply GAAP, SEC and PCAOB guidance in audit engagements.
